My VS Code is now completely down. Can't open anything.
After multiple instances of deleting cache and restarting my laptop, it started once. But got stuck in Copilot.
Behaving weirdly today.
This is what is looking like when I open VS Code.

I suspect today's update in vscode. Any way to go back to previous state?

Tried all these. Nothing worked.
Even Uninstall was getting hanged. Finally - after long day exercise, decided to force delete the app from my laptop - and Re-install VS Code. This worked.
This raises question on reliability / stability of VS Code as IDE.

I tried many suggested solutions across multiple support forums. Nothing worked.
Even uninstall wasn't working. I force deleted VS Code from my laptop and then reinstalled. That solved the problem- but lost the whole day in the exercise.
But now the concern is about - how stable VS Code is? If any update breaks your working app, something is not right about the test cycle of update.
