My manager - [Moderator note: personal info removed] is being charged 19.99 per month by Micosoft on his business AMEX card. What is this for? He doesn't have a personal MS account, it's all manage through our business. Who can he SPEAK to, to figure this out?

Hi @Luedtke, Esther - Putsch USA,

Good day, and I hope you are doing well.

For billing-related concerns such as this recurring charge, if your organization purchased and manages the Microsoft business subscriptions directly, the most appropriate next step would be for your IT administrator to submit a support ticket with Microsoft’s Billing team. The Billing team is best positioned to review billing records, determine which service or subscription the charge is related to, and provide further clarification on why it is appearing on the card.

When submitting a billing‑related request, it would be helpful for the IT administrator to clearly indicate that the charge appears to be associated with an unknown or unrecognized Microsoft subscription, and that the organization is unable to identify which service the charge relates to. Providing this information may help ensure the request is routed to the appropriate billing team more efficiently and may help reduce potential delays.

For guidance on how to request support through the Microsoft 365 admin center, please share the following resource with your IT administrator: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn.

As moderators, our primary goal is to provide helpful guidance and support through general troubleshooting steps. While we do not have access to internal billing systems or the administrative tools required to review or modify account‑specific details, we truly appreciate your understanding of these limitations. We genuinely hope the information we share helps point you in the right direction, and we're always here to assist as much as we can within our scope.

If your Microsoft environment is instead managed through a Microsoft Partner or reseller, it would be advisable for the IT administrator to contact that partner directly, as billing and subscription management are typically handled through them.

I hope this information is useful. Thank you for taking the time to raise this question. If you need any further clarification or assistance, please feel free to leave a comment under this post.
