Hello. Drafts are handled the same as regular emails. When deleted, they are first moved to Deleted Items. If they are no longer there, recovery options become very limited.
Was this using Outlook desktop, Outlook on the web, or a different app?
The standard checks are:
- Review the Deleted Items folder carefully
- Use the “Recover Deleted Items” option.
Just keep in mind drafts aren’t versioned or backed up separately, so if it’s not in Deleted Items or the recovery list, there’s a good chance it’s gone and can’t be restored.
