Windows Fileserver Login with SamAccountname without Netbois prefix

Hello Guys,
we have a Windows 2019 Fileserver.
Is it possible to authenticate to this fileserver only with the login name without the netbois prefix or the domain suffix?
The clients of the users are no domain members.
For Example;
Samaccountname: ad\test001
UPN: test001@keyman .de
The User expect the login only with the Username without the netbois prefix.
Is there a setting on the server, which can turn on for this case?
