100Mb EFI, 476.28 GB NTFS healthy boot etc that is all on SSD size 476.92. Should there be a recovery partition?

Yes, that is correct, generally, on a Windows 11 drive, you will have the EFI (BOOT) partition, the C drive partition and a Recovery Partition.

You indicate Windows was recovered, what method was used to recover the data on that drive?

Please provide a screenshot of that drive in the bottom pane of Disk Management.
