How do we ensure previous learnings are captured in the current profile?

Will we be able go merge them into one?

Previous learnings can be brought together by merging Microsoft Learn profiles, as long as only one of the profiles has a personal Microsoft login account.

    When profiles are merged:

    1. All learning progress, credentials, and transcripts from both profiles are combined into a single Learn profile.
    2. Signing in remains possible with all login accounts that were on both profiles.
    3. Editable information (display name, interests, etc.) can still be changed later.
    4. Duplicate learning items are removed.
    5. The merge cannot be undone.

    To merge profiles:

    1. Sign in to one of the Learn profiles.
    2. Go to profile SettingsAccount ManagementAdd login account.
    3. Add a login account that is associated with the other Learn profile.
    4. If that account is tied to another Learn profile, the system will trigger a profile merge and bring all content from that second profile into the signed‑in profile.

    Notes:

    • A profile can have up to five work/school accounts and one personal account. If a merge would exceed the five work/school account limit, the merge is canceled and the issue must be resolved before trying again.
    • If either profile has Private Mode enabled, the merged profile will have Private Mode enabled.

This process ensures previous learnings are captured and combined into one current profile.
