The listed certifications from 2006 fall under the legacy programs (such as MCSA/MCSD/MCSE/MOS/MTA/MCE). These certifications do not expire, but they are retired and no longer issued; they remain on the transcript as historical credentials.
To access or recover printable proof of these credentials today, use Microsoft Learn’s certification/credentials support rather than the old Certification Dashboard (which no longer exists):
- Check the current credentials view
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn and go to the Credentials area (Certifications tab) to see if the legacy certifications appear in the Active or Historical section of the transcript.
- If visible, use the built-in options to view/print and then save as PDF. Certificates are no longer downloaded as separate files; they are viewed/printed from the Learn site.
- If the certifications are not visible
- Open a support request with the Credentials Support team so they can locate and attach the legacy certifications to the current Learn profile or advise on transcript access.
- Use the “For all other Microsoft Certification issues” path under Credentials Support.
These legacy certifications do not expire, but because they are from a retired program, they may appear only as historical items on the transcript once support restores visibility.
