How do I get the student discount and microsoft virtual training day discount

I have neither and ive done both, it hasnt asked me to prove im a student anywhere and i dont have the option to do so anywhere. Aslo the virtual training day discount is done but I have yet to recieve the discount.

To receive both the student discount and the Microsoft Virtual Training Day (MVTD) exam discount, two different processes are required.

1. Student discount on Microsoft Certification exams

To be recognized as a student and get academic pricing on exams:

1. Sign in to the Learn profile.
2. Start the interest survey: go to the interest survey.
3. In the survey, select “Career Paths”.
4. Choose “Student” as the career path.
5. Complete the rest of the survey and select “Finished”.

After academic status is verified, the student discount is automatically applied when registering for eligible exams.

2. Microsoft Virtual Training Day exam discount

For MVTD-based discounts (for example, AI-900 or other Fundamentals/role-based exams):

1. The discount is tied to the email address used to register for the Virtual Training Day.
2. The discount is not usually sent as a visible “voucher code” in email; instead, it is applied automatically to the Learn profile for that registration email and appears at the final checkout step on Pearson VUE.
3. It can take about five business days after the training day session(s) for the discount to be added to the profile.

Steps to check/apply the MVTD discount:

1. Make sure exam registration is done while signed in with the same email used to register for the Virtual Training Day.
2. Start the exam scheduling flow (via the exam page → Pearson VUE).
3. Proceed to checkout; the discount is applied automatically at the final stage if it is present on the profile.

If more than five business days have passed since the Virtual Training Day and the discount still does not appear at checkout, contact certification support at Credentials Support so they can check the event registration and discount status for the account.
