I completed the AI-900 MS Azure AI Fundamentals course with my previous employer. Is there a way I can get a copy of my certificate now when I don't have access to my old work email?

Yes. The certificate is tied to the Microsoft account used for the exam and Learn profile, not to the employer. The work email was only used as a sign-in identifier.

    Use these steps:

    1. Sign in to Microsoft Learn with the same personal Microsoft account (or accounts) that might be linked to the exam: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/
    2. Open the profile menu (top right) and select Profile.
    3. In the left column, select CredentialsCertifications.
    4. Select View certification details for Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals.
    5. Use the Print option to generate a printable certificate you can save as PDF, or download from the certificate view if available.

If the certification does not appear under your current account, it is likely associated with a different Microsoft account (for example, one created with the old work email). In that case, submit a ticket to Microsoft Credentials Support so they can help locate and move the certification to an account you control.

To share proof of the certification (for employers or schools), also use your Microsoft Learn transcript:

    1. Go to your Certification Dashboard (from the Credentials area).
    2. Select View Transcript.
    3. Use PDF to download a copy, or Share to generate a transcript ID, access code, and URL that can be given to others.

If the AI-900 exam was taken through Certiport, note that those certifications currently do not sync into Microsoft Learn; in that case, manage and share the credential directly from the Certiport account instead.
