    Hello

The AI answer is providing the instruction to sync your Edge data.

However, any chance you also meant to stop syncing files from one device to another, and sycing settings from one device to another? Please clarify as sync can mean different things under different context. If that's the case you need more further instruction yet.

To stop Microsoft Edge from syncing automatically on Windows 11:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.
    2. Select Settings and more (the three dots in the upper-right corner).
    3. Select Settings.
    4. Go to Profiles > Sync.
    5. Turn off the toggles for the data types that should not sync (for example, Favorites, History, Passwords, etc.).
    6. If sync should be stopped completely, go back to Profiles and select Sign out from the profile that is signed in.

Note: If browser data should also be removed from all synced devices before signing out, go to Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data while still signed in and syncing. Deleting data while signed in and syncing removes it from all synced devices.

On a mobile device (Edge app on iOS or Android):

    1. Open the Microsoft Edge app.
    2. Select More options (three dots) > Settings, then select the profile image.
    3. Under Sync settings, select Sync.
    4. Turn off the toggles for each feature that should not sync, then select Done.
    5. To stop syncing entirely, in Settings select the profile image, then choose Sign out and turn off sync.

If all sync data should be deleted before signing out on mobile, select More options > Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data while still signed in and syncing.
