Mouse right click working while left does

Question

I have a stupid thing where my mouse can left click but cant right click.

It may be physical but im not sure. It is a msi wired mouse. If any one knows how to fix it pls tell me.

Try these steps to narrow down and fix the issue:

1. Check the mouse hardware
   • Plug the MSI mouse into another USB port on the same PC.
   • If possible, plug it into a different PC.
   • If right-click still does not work on another PC while left-click does, the right button switch is likely physically faulty and the mouse needs to be replaced.
2. Check basic connections
   • Unplug the mouse, wait ~10–15 seconds so Windows can unload the driver, then plug it back in.
   • If using a USB hub, connect the mouse directly to the PC instead.
   • Make sure the cable is not damaged.
3. Verify Windows sees the mouse correctly
   • Open Settings > Devices > Mouse (or use the Mouse shortcut: Mouse link from the context).
   • Under Select your primary button, ensure Left is selected (this just confirms Windows hasn’t remapped buttons in a way that confuses testing).
4. Update or reinstall the mouse driver
   • In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select Device Manager.
   • Find the mouse under Mice and other pointing devices.
   • Right-click it, choose Update driver, and follow the instructions.
