- On your Windows PC, try repairing or resetting the Phone Link app (Settings > Apps > Phone Link >Advanced options). This can help if the app became inconsistent after the recent update.
- If you are using any VPN or third-party security software, try temporarily disabling it to see if the connection improves, as these can sometimes interfere with device communication. *Disclaimer: Temporarily turn off antivirus protection. However, keep in mind that if you do so, your device may be vulnerable to threats. So please turn it on immediately once issue fixed.
- Also, if you happen to use Samsung DeX, try closing it while testing, as running both at the same time can impact Phone Link connectivity.
- As a quick isolation step, you might also try connecting both devices to a different Wi‑Fi network or mobile hotspot to rule out any network-related restrictions.
