I understand how concerning this must be, especially if your games were showing normally before and then disappeared after playing Kinito Pet. 

To help narrow this down, could you let me know a bit more about what changed? 

• Which version of Windows are you using? 
• Are the games missing from the Desktop, Start menu, or from a launcher? 
• Do you still see the game folders in File Explorer or do the installed games seem completely gone? 
• Were the games installed on your main drive (C:) or on another drive such as D: or an external drive? 
• Do you remember the name of one or two games that disappeared? 
• After playing Kinito Pet, did you notice any Windows Security or antivirus notification? 

In the meantime, please try the steps below:

1. Restart your PC 

• If this was only a temporary display or launcher issue, a restart may help refresh everything. 

2. Check whether the games are missing from the Desktop, Start menu, or only from the game launcher 

• This will help confirm whether the games are actually removed or if only the shortcuts/library view changed. 

3. Search for one missing game in File Explorer 

• If the game folder or .exe file is still there, the game may still be installed and only the shortcut may be missing. 

4. Open the launcher you use 

• Please check whether the games still appear in the library and whether the correct game library location is selected.

Games or apps disappearing from the Start menu can happen if system optimization tools or malware change or hide Start Menu folders.

To bring them back on Windows 7 or Windows Vista (per the documented steps):

1. If only some games/programs disappeared:
   • Locate the game’s main executable file on the disk.
   • Create a shortcut to it.
   • Copy that shortcut into:
     • C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs
2. If almost all games/programs disappeared but still run when searched:
   • In Windows Explorer, type this path into the address bar and press Enter:
     • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu
   • Right‑click a blank area in that window and select Property.
   • On the General tab, check whether Hide is selected.
   • If Hide is selected, clear it and select OK.
   • If prompted for permission, provide administrator credentials or select Continue.
3. If even the All Programs list is missing:
   • Check related Group Policy settings that control Start Menu visibility.
   • If that does not help, use System Restore to roll back to a point before the issue started, or use the Windows installation disc to repair the system.
