I'm receiving one of these messages daily and I'm contacting you for help.

Edit: Windows 11 Pro

Version: 25H2

OS Build: 26200.8246

This happens suddenly, without any warning, and makes me waste a lot of time trying to recover the system.

I heard it's possible to access the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and copy all the minidump files found there. The only problem is that I can't send these files. How can I send them to OneDrive or Google Drive to share them?

Rui

The problem is caused by a third-party driver and its Linux file system components. Disable or temporarily remove all Linux-related software, and restart your laptop in "clean boot" mode and monitor its operation.

    Hello, Alexandr S

OK, I realize that all of this has to do with Ext2Mgr.exe; Patience, I'll continue with the tests, it's a shame the machine might crash...

Open OneDrive in a browser: https://onedrive.live.com/ and then click on "My files". Find the dump file and right-click on it. In the context menu, select "Share", then copy the generated link and upload it here.

    Hello, Rui Baptista.

Copy it first.dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump to a separate non-system folder or to the Desktop. And from there - to the file sharing site.

To share the minidump files from C:\Windows\Minidump, first copy them to a location in the user profile (for example, Desktop or Documents), then upload them to a cloud service.

To upload to OneDrive using File Explorer in Windows 11:

    1. Open File Explorer and go to C:\Windows\Minidump.
    2. Copy the desired .dmp files (right-click > Copy).
    3. Navigate to a folder in the user profile (for example, Desktop or Documents) and Paste them there. This avoids permission issues when uploading from a system folder.
    4. In File Explorer, in the left pane, select the OneDrive folder.
    5. In the right pane, open or create the subfolder where the dumps should be stored.
    6. Either:
      • Drag the copied dump files from Desktop/Documents into the OneDrive folder in the left pane to move them, or
      • Right-click the files, select Copy, then right-click in the OneDrive folder and select Paste to copy them there.
    7. Wait for the OneDrive sync status icon to show that the files have finished uploading.

Once synced, the files can be shared from OneDrive via the OneDrive website or the sharing options in File Explorer.

If the system is frequently restarting with a stop code (Blue Screen/BSOD), note the stop code text shown on the error screen (for example, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA or MEMORY_MANAGEMENT). This information, together with the minidumps, helps identify whether the cause is a hardware device, its driver, or software.
