Will Microsoft Graph API driveitem search requests be accessible when using a Sites.Selected application permission ?

To whom it may concern,

As Microsoft Graph API DriveItem search requests are not accessible when using a Sites.Selected application permission - cf the provided public api documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/driveitem-search?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http - I am wondering if a ticket is opened internally to unlock these functionalities for this specific permission.

Do you know if these requests will be usable to search for DriveItems within a selected collection of sites ? If so, do you have any due date ? If not, do you propose any alternatives ?

As far as I know, no support ticket has been opened internally. So I suggest you submit user voice to unlock the request for Sites.Selected application permission support, and I will vote for you.
