My email address is used as the recovery email address for my other half when you forget your password and need a code sent to in order to get back into your email. My email address is being put in and request for code to be sent but nothing is coming through to my address. He has completed the 'recovery form' 3 times now, but every time it says that not sufficient information was provided. How on earth can he get back into he's emails and set a new password if the recovery address is not receiving the code to do this? Please advise, asap! Thanks!

    Hi Cheryl H

I understand your email address is being used as the recovery email for your other half’s Microsoft account, but the verification code email isn’t arriving, and after submitting the account recovery form multiple times it is still being rejected. I’m happy to help. Is the recovery mailbox a Microsoft email (Outlook.com/Hotmail/Live/MSN) or a non‑Microsoft provider (Gmail/Yahoo/ISP)? Also, do you see any mail rules/filters on that recovery mailbox that could be moving Microsoft emails?

I would love to hear from you soon. Have a nice day!
