ASR VM tagging

I have ASR setup from our on-prem vmware environment to azure. In vmware, we have all the vm's tagged (notes field) with their purpose, and owner. When I get them into ASR, I don't see a way to do something similar.
Like a lot of companies, we have a messy naming convention that doesn't always tell you what the server is by looking at it, and most of the users of these servers don't necessarily know the names of their servers since they use an alias or a web url to access them. So in the event that I need to fail over a select group of servers (maybe for DR testing or something similar) I would like to be able to tell what the servers are, as I would in vmware.
I looked into tagging, but I don't see a way to tag a server that only exists in ASR. Sure, I can tag the storage, but that's a bunch of extra steps to track down storage attached to each VM.

Is there an easy way to accomplish this in Azure Site Recovery? I'm guessing the answer is no.

Hello @DaveHagel-7323 Thank you for reaching out to us!

We don’t have a functionality to tag resources in ASR, but this is an interesting ask. Noted.

For now, you can consider creating a Recovery Plan for each of your groups – maybe that helps you accomplish the grouping.
