This happens because Excel only shows paper sizes supported by the selected printer, not all possible sizes. If A5 isn’t listed, the printer isn’t offering it.
You can try this:
- Go to File > Print and switch to another printer (for example, a PDF printer), then check the size list again
- If still missing, add A5 in your printer settings:
- Settings > Printers & scanners > your printer > Manage > Printing preferences
- Create a custom size: 148 × 210 mm (A5)
After that, reopen Excel and check again.
Note: Excel itself can’t add paper sizes, it relies on what the printer provides.
