Virtual Domain Controller and Mgmt server not connecting

Question

Greetings All,
I recently set up a managed domain (example.org) in Azure and connected a Azure VM to it to act as a management server. I then joined the Mgmt server to my domain and verified that it was successfully added. Then I installed Active Directory Admin Center on the Mgmt server and launched it. When I lauch the app it throws the error "Cannot connect to any domain. Refresh or try again." I set this up using the guide provided by MS <https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-domain-services/tutorial-create-management-vm> so I am hoping someone can help me figure out where my mistake is being made.
