Older invoices for a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription remain available in the same Microsoft account billing history after upgrading; the subscription change does not delete or hide past invoices. They are accessed through the Microsoft account’s Services & subscriptions / Order history pages.
To view and download older invoices for a home (personal/family) subscription:
- Go to the Microsoft account services & subscriptions page:
https://account.microsoft.com/services (also reachable via the billing page of other consumer subscriptions like Clipchamp).
- Sign in with the same personal Microsoft account that was used for the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription before the upgrade. If signed in with a different account, earlier subscriptions and invoices will not appear.
- Locate the Microsoft 365 subscription entries in the list. Older (Personal) and newer (Premium) charges may appear as separate lines over time.
- Select Manage next to the relevant subscription entry.
- Use Billing history or Payment & billing → Order history to see past billing periods and download invoices/receipts.
If the older invoices still do not appear after confirming the correct Microsoft account is used, direct contact with Microsoft billing support is required, because community tools and documentation cannot access or fix account-specific billing history.
To contact support for home subscriptions and billing issues:
- Go to the Microsoft Support contact page:
https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the subscription.
- Select the appropriate product (Microsoft 365 / Office for home).
- Choose a billing-related category (for example, “Billing and Payment updates” or “Manage my subscription”).
- Use the Chat with a support agent in your web browser or similar option to request investigation and access to older invoices.
For business/enterprise tenants, invoices are accessed instead via the Microsoft 365 admin center under Billing → Bills & payments, but this does not apply to standard home subscriptions.
