I have an MS 3600 bluetooth mouse that keeps on doing a double click on the left key when only pressed once. Is there a solution to this or is it knackered?

Change the mouse double-click speed and test whether the issue is configuration or hardware:

    1. Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mouse.
    2. Under Related settings, select Additional mouse settings.
    3. In Mouse Properties, on the Buttons tab, adjust the Double-click speed slider toward Slow.
    4. Test double-clicking the folder icon in that dialog to see if single clicks are still being interpreted as double-clicks.

If slowing the double‑click speed does not stop single clicks from registering as double clicks, the issue is likely hardware-related (worn or faulty switch in the left button). In that case, replacement of the mouse is typically required, as software settings will not correct a failing switch.
