Microsoft Virtual Learning Days - Registration Emails not coming

Hi I have signed up for multiple Microsoft Virtual Learning Days and no emails or confirmations are ever sent to me.

I ran a message trace with our Exchange Admin Center and nothing is showing as blocked, or in my spam.

The most likely cause is an issue on the event platform/registration side rather than Exchange blocking, especially since message trace shows no messages and nothing in spam.

Based on similar cases with Microsoft Virtual Training/Virtual Learning Days:

    1. The event provider (for example, ON24) sometimes doesn’t complete or sync the registration correctly with Microsoft’s event system.
    2. When that happens, the email address is effectively not registered on the event platform, so no confirmation or reminder emails are generated at all—there is nothing for Exchange to trace or block.
    3. Microsoft support has confirmed in a similar scenario that a synchronization delay between the Microsoft event system and ON24 caused login and email issues, and the resolution was to re‑register for a future event after the sync problem was fixed.

    Practical next steps:

    1. Contact the event platform support
      • If the event uses ON24, contact ON24 support (as in the referenced case) and ask them to verify whether the email address is actually registered for the specific Virtual Learning Day events.
      • Ask them explicitly whether the registration exists and whether any confirmation emails were generated.
    2. Contact Microsoft event/credential support
      • Use the Microsoft event/credential support channel (for example, the one referenced in the similar case) to report that:
        • Registration completed successfully on the Microsoft side.
        • No confirmation or reminder emails are being received.
        • Exchange message trace shows no messages from the event sender to the mailbox.
      • Request that they check for synchronization issues between the Microsoft event registration system and the event provider (such as ON24) for the email address and tenant.
    3. Re‑register for a new session
      • Once support confirms the sync issue is resolved, re‑register for the next available Microsoft Virtual Learning Day using the same email address.
      • Verify that a confirmation email is generated and appears in message trace.

Because message trace shows no messages at all, further Exchange-side changes (spam rules, transport rules, quarantine checks) are not indicated; the focus should be on event registration and cross‑system synchronization.
