Windows Authentication in IIS does not work in another folder than C:\inetpub\wwwroot

thanks for you support.

I run a php application under IIS and I need to put the windows authentication on. Our policies requires to setup the files under another hard drive (e:), but if I pu my files there, the NTLM authentication does not work, there is no 401 challenge when accessing the file. This work only when the files are installed on C:\inetpub\wwwroot.

Can you please tell me how to change this behavior?
