Camera Turns Purple

My camera is turning me purple in multiple apps for online meetings.

On Surface and Windows devices this kind of color issue is often caused by the display/color profile rather than the camera itself.

Change the Windows color profile to sRGB and test again:

1. Open Settings from the taskbar search.
2. Go to System → Display.
3. Under Color profile:
   • If it is set to Vivid, change it to sRGB.
   • If it is set to Enhanced, change it to sRGB.
4. Restart the meeting app (Teams, etc.) and check the camera image again.

This workaround is known to correct overly red/pink skin tones and similar color distortions on Surface devices and may resolve the purple tint seen across multiple meeting apps.
