    Hi Karen Howe

I understand you’re having trouble searching past addresses in Calendar in new Outlook for Windows, but Search returns “nothing found.” I’m happy to help you. Have you tried the AI steps? Could you confirm:

    • Does the same address search work in Outlook on the web calendar for the same account?
    • In one affected event, is the address visible in Location or only in the event body/notes?
    • Are you searching one calendar or multiple calendars at once? (Outlook on the web searches the calendars you currently have selected.)

I would love to hear from you soon. Have a lovely day!

Calendar search in Outlook looks for words in the subject, location, body, attachments, organizer, and attendees of events. To search for past addresses in the calendar and improve results:

    1. Select the Calendar icon in Outlook.
    2. Click in the Search box at the top of the calendar.
    3. Type part of the address (for example, just the street name or city) instead of the full address.
    4. If using Outlook for Windows (new or classic), scroll through the first 30 results and select More at the bottom if available to load additional items.
    5. Use the Search tab (if shown) or filter icon to refine by fields such as Organizer or Subject and adjust the search scope (for example, all calendars vs. current folder) so past events are included.
    6. If nothing is found, try different keywords (e.g., only the postcode, only the building name) or use quotation marks around phrases (like "Main Street") to match exact phrases.

If search still returns nothing, it may be a broader Outlook search issue; in the new Outlook, check Settings > General > Search and ensure the search scope is not restricted in a way that excludes older calendar items.
