Hi, I'm a new startup, i clicked on azure startup and switched account from business to msa now i'm stuck in a loop and i can't access the azure portal.

I DO NOT WANT AZURE STARTUP. I'm thinking about building on GCP at this point as i cannot get my normal azure portal back it's not a cache issues it's linked to my account.

    Hello Tony,

It appears the issue started after switching your account from your organization’s Azure AD account to a Microsoft personal account (MSA) while accessing the Microsoft for Startups portal. As a result, your account may now be caught in a redirect loop between the Startups portal and the standard Azure portal.

    Please try the following steps:

    1. Access the Azure portal directly using: https://portal.azure.com

Ensure you are not unintentionally signing in through the Microsoft for Startups portal: https://portal.startups.microsoft.com

Open the browser in InPrivate/Incognito mode to rule out any cached sessions, cookies, or extensions.

After signing in, click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select “Switch directory.” If your original Azure AD tenant is listed, select it and verify whether your subscriptions become visible again.

If the issue persists, please try the following additional steps:

Step 5 — Remove the MSA link through the Startups portal

    Navigate to: https://portal.startups.microsoft.com/login

Sign in and go to: Settings (gear icon) → My Profile

Check whether the linked MSA/account association can be updated or removed.

Step 6 — Perform a full session reset

    Sign out completely using: https://login.microsoftonline.com/logout.srf

    Then navigate to: https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com

Sign in again using only your original business account, and then retry: https://portal.azure.com

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, the Microsoft for Startups support team may need to manually correct the account association from the backend.

You can raise a support request using:

“?” icon → Submit a Support Ticket within the Startups portal

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers

Additionally, could you please confirm the following details:

Which exact URL do you see when the redirect loop occurs?

Is your original Azure AD tenant visible under “Switch directory”?

Are you signing in with the same account that was originally associated with your Azure subscription?

Please let us know the outcome after trying the above steps.
