While trying to renew my subscription for one year, and not being familiar with your payment options, I made a mistake and clicked too many times which resulted in multiple subscriptions. I only intended to subscribe for one year premium 365. I would like to receive a refund for the over charged that may have been caused my me.

Try using the steps they provide on this link to cancel the extra payments and get a refund.

If you are still unable to resolve that payment problem, this forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, you will need to contact Microsoft Support directly, try using this method to contact their support.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

Multiple charges and overlapping Microsoft 365 subscriptions require review and adjustment by the Microsoft billing team, but there are a few steps that can be taken immediately.

    1. Investigate all charges and subscriptions
      • Sign in to the Microsoft account used for the purchase and review the order history to confirm exactly what was bought on May 5 (the $99.99, $129.99, and the $99.84 refund).
      • Follow the guidance in “How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft” to check whether there are multiple subscriptions or multiple accounts using the same payment method. From there, use Payment options → Investigate if needed to see if another account is involved.
      • If it appears that there are duplicate or unintended subscriptions, note which ones should remain active (the single one‑year Microsoft 365 Premium/Family subscription) and which should be cancelled/refunded.
    2. Request a refund for unintended subscriptions
      • For Microsoft 365 subscriptions purchased directly from Microsoft, refund eligibility is checked after cancelling the subscription.
      • Use the steps in “How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription”:
        • Cancel the extra/unwanted Microsoft 365 subscriptions first.
        • During or after cancellation, follow the guided refund tool (the “Start” self‑help flow) to request a refund for the extra charges that resulted from clicking multiple times.
      • Note that not all cancellations result in a refund; the tool and billing support will determine eligibility based on the subscription status, timing, and terms.
    3. If cancellation or refund options are not available
      • If unable to cancel or see refund options, follow “Unable to cancel your Microsoft subscription”:
        • Confirm the correct Microsoft account is being used.
        • Ensure there are no overdue balances on the payment method.
        • If the subscription was purchased through a third party (e.g., Amazon, Apple App Store, Google Play), contact that retailer directly for cancellation and refund.
        • If the subscription was purchased in Germany, use the dedicated cancellation flow at https://aka.ms/germancancel.
      • If the issue persists, use the guided support link in that article to start a support session and connect with a billing agent.
    4. When to contact Microsoft Billing Support directly
      • Because there are multiple charges and a partial refund already applied ($99.84), the account may need manual review by the billing team.
      • Use the contact path described in the Q&A examples:
        • Go to the Microsoft support contact page, select Microsoft 365, choose home support, then select a billing topic and use “Chat with a support agent in your web browser” or request a callback.
      • Provide the exact dates, amounts ($99.99, $129.99, and $99.84), and clarify that only one one‑year Microsoft 365 Premium/Family subscription was intended so they can adjust or refund the extra charge if eligible.

Following these steps will allow identification of any duplicate or unintended subscriptions and submission of a formal refund request for the overcharge.
