    Dear @Daksh Tomar,

Good day, and I appreciate the clear explanation of your concern. As a forum moderator, I genuinely wish I could directly access your account or delve into the backend systems to diagnose and fix this for you. However, our role here is limited to providing general guidance and solutions that can be applied by users.

From my research, this is a fairly common situation where profile pictures appear correctly on mobile devices but not on the desktop app. In most cases, this is related to cache or synchronization issues on the Teams desktop client rather than a configuration problem.

You can try the following steps to see if they help:

    1. Clear Teams Cache
    2. Type settings in the search box, and then select the Settings app from the results.
    3. Select Apps > Installed apps, and then type Microsoft Teams in the search box.
    4. Locate the New Microsoft Teams app from the results, select the More options button (...) on the right, and then select Advanced options.
    5. In the Reset section, select Reset.
    6. Restart Teams.

    1. Sign Out and Sign Back In
    • In Teams desktop > Click your profile picture (top right) > Sign out.
    • Close Teams completely.
    • Reopen and sign in again.

    After Trying the Above

    • Allow 5-10 minutes after signing back in, as profile pictures may take some time to sync.
    • You may also want to check with classmates or colleagues to see if they experience the same issue. If others can see profile pictures normally, it may indicate a local issue on your device. If not, it could be related to an organizational policy.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments so I can continue to support you. I'm looking forward to your reply.

On mobile, Teams is already showing the photos correctly, so the accounts and pictures are configured. The issue is limited to the desktop client on the laptop. Use these checks and steps:

    1. Verify profile pictures exist and are visible in Microsoft 365
      • In any Office app (for example Outlook or Word), select the profile picture at the top to open the profile card.
      • Select Update your profile to open the profile page in Delve.
      • Confirm that each user actually has a profile photo set there. If not, add one using the steps under “Add or change your profile photo”.
    2. Check Teams desktop profile picture settings
      • In Teams desktop, select the profile picture at the top right.
      • If no picture is shown for the signed‑in user, set one:
        • Select the profile picture again, choose Upload, pick an image, then Save.
      • It may take some time for changes to sync across all channels and devices. Clearing the Teams cache on the laptop can help the desktop client refresh pictures faster.
    3. Confirm team and class pictures (if using Teams for Education)
      • If the concern is about team avatars (class/team icons) rather than user photos, a team owner can set them:
        • Go to the team in Teams desktop.
        • Select More options > Manage team.
        • Open the Settings tab and select Change picture.
        • Choose an avatar or Upload an image, then Save.
    4. If photos still do not appear on the laptop
      • Sign out of Teams desktop completely and sign back in with the same school account used on mobile.
      • Ensure the Teams desktop app is fully updated.
      • If the organization’s admin has restricted editing personal details or profile photos, changes may only be possible through the organization’s profile page opened from an Office app (File > Account > Change photo).
