Office Home & Student 2021 OEM license missing after Windows reinstall

My ASUS TUF Gaming F17 FX706HF originally included Office Home & Student 2021. I activated it previously using my Microsoft account: ******@outlook.com.

After performing a clean Windows installation using official ISO media, Windows reactivated successfully but Office entitlement disappeared.

Office is installed now, but ospp.vbs /dstatus shows: “No installed product keys detected.”

The device is still linked to my Microsoft account. Please help restore or rebind the OEM Office 2021 license.

For an OEM Office Home & Student 2021 that came preinstalled and disappeared after a clean Windows reinstall, the key steps are:

    1. Confirm how the OEM Office must be reinstalled
Some pre-installed Office 2021 products are activated without a visible product key and without being tied to a Microsoft account in the usual way. For these, reinstallation must be done from the Microsoft Store on the device, not from generic Office downloads.
    2. Reinstall Office 2021 from Microsoft Store Library
      On the ASUS device:
      1. Select Start and open the Microsoft Store app.
      2. In Microsoft Store, select the Library icon.
      3. Go to the Apps tab (or All tab if present).
      4. If there is a Show installed products only filter, turn it off so all entitlements are visible.
      5. Locate the Office product (for example, Office Home & Student 2021) in the list and select the Cloud button next to it.
      6. Let the Office installer download and complete the installation, following the prompts.
This path is required for those OEM entitlements that do not use a traditional product key and are not fully bound to the Microsoft account in the same way as a retail purchase.
    3. Check activation status after reinstall
After installation completes, open an Office app (such as Word) and confirm that it no longer shows activation prompts. If needed, sign in with the same Microsoft account used previously so the device can pick up any account-based entitlement.
    4. If activation still fails or entitlement is not visible
If Office does not appear in the Microsoft Store Library or activation still fails after reinstalling from there, direct support assistance is required to check the OEM entitlement and device binding and to repair activation. Use the official support contact channel so support can remotely verify the device’s entitlement and fix the binding.

Log into your Microsoft account on this link.

Do you find your Office licence linked to your account there?

    https://account.microsoft.com/services/

    2

If not, open the Microsoft Store app.

Click Library at the bottom left of the Store App, is there an 'Included with this Device' section with Office listed there?
