My Hotmail account has been compromised. A bot (idtienphuoc1) is replacing incoming email content with spam despite password change x2, rule deletion, IMAP/POP disabled. Bot is still active. Need OAuth tokens revoked and email content restored from backup. Please escalate urgently.

Alright. The next step is to contact Outlook support which can check and remove the association with the hacker from the backend.

Please contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.

Please go to the https://support.microsoft.com/contactus page

    Type "Billing" and press Enter.

Please click on the "Contact support" button at the bottom.

Select the Product and Category for support based on your requirements.

Thanks. Did you sign out everywhere, changed password, enabled 2FA and checked rules as well?

    Hi Joe,

It is a classic example of a hacked account.

    Via https://yourwindowsguide.com/2026/02/outlook-hacked-draft-email.html#gsc.tab=0

    #1:

It’s possible the Outlook hacker created rules in the Microsoft To-Do app, which could be causing the Email to appear. Once you flush out Microsoft To-Do, the Outlook hacked draft Email issue can go away. Go to the Software using this link and clean everything:

    Web Browsers

    Microsoft To-Do login

This should resolve the issue, most probably.

    #2:

Some users have reported that deleting unrecognized contacts from Outlook here would also help them regain access to their accounts. The list might be pretty big if you have large contacts.

    #3:

Please login to Teams > Settings > Accounts and orgs and try to leave organizations if any.

A Windows MVP writes content on the above website, so it is safe. However, do watch out for the ads. It should translate into your Browser language automatically.
