    Good day @Filion Jelena

Thank you very much for your cooperation and for agreeing to share this issue on the Feedback Hub.

I have submitted the feedback here: Comments section in Lists looks too narrow and hard to read · Community. Whenever you have time, it would be very helpful if you could take a quick look, add your comment and upvote the post to increase its visibility.

Note: If you encounter an error when clicking the link, please try again later as the Feedback Hub is currently undergoing maintenance.

Additionally, if possible, you may consider upvoting this answer to help keep it at the top of the thread. This will make it easier for other community members experiencing the same issue to find the feedback link and share their concerns. The more users who support and upvote feedback, the more likely it is to be noticed and considered for future improvements.

I hope this feature will be reviewed and improved in an upcoming update.

    Dear @Filion Jelena

Thank you again for reaching out and for keeping me updated on your situation.

Currently, Microsoft hasn't published any official documentation or statement explicitly confirming changes to the Lists user interface. Since Lists is a web application, any UI-related issues would typically follow the steps I mentioned earlier. It is possible that this behavior has recently appeared only for some users and hasn‘t been widely reported yet.

In the meantime, I would like to suggest a workaround that may help improve the readability of comments:

    • Adjust the Details pane

Select the list item > Details.

    User's image

In the Details pane, drag the edge outward to expand the panel.

    User's image

This will create more space for the comments section, making it easier to read.

If you are using SharePoint, you can follow the same steps.

I completely understand how these limitations can feel disruptive, especially when the experience differs from what you are used to. This is not only about appearance, but it can also affect how efficiently you work day to day.

I’m really sorry, I know this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for. As a forum moderator, I hope you understand that I don’t have the ability to modify or escalate product issues directly. However, I strongly recommend submitting your feedback through the Microsoft Lists · Community This is the most effective way to ensure your voice reaches the product team and can be considered for future improvements.

Once you've submitted your feedback, feel free to share the link here in the comments. I’ll be happy to upvote it to help bring more visibility. If you prefer, I can also submit this great idea on your behalf. Just let me know, and I’ll post it for you and share the link once it’s published. I’m here to help ensure your feedback gets the attention it deserves.

Additionally, as other users have raised similar concerns and may not be aware of where to share their feedback, I hope this response helps clarify the situation and suggests a potential next step. Highlighting this information can make it more visible to others in the community who may be facing the same issue, making it easier for them to find guidance and contribute their feedback as well.

Thank you again for your time and for raising this important usability concern.

    Dear @Filion Jelena

Thank you for sharing your concern.

    • To help me better understand the situation and assist you effectively, could you please share a screenshot of the Comments section in Microsoft Lists where the issue occurs? (Please make sure to blur or cover any personal or sensitive information in the screenshot to protect your privacy)

This will help confirm the layout and identify any visual abnormalities.

In the meantime, you can follow the steps below and refer to the image I provided to verify the issue:

Ensure that the operating system and the web browser are fully updated to the latest version available.

Step 1: Reset browser zoom to default (100%)

Changes in zoom settings can sometimes affect how web applications display content.

    • Open the affected list in the browser > Go to Settings > Select Appearance > Set Page zoom to 100%.

    User's image

    • Alternatively: Press and hold the Ctrl key > Scroll the mouse wheel until the zoom returns to 100%.

    User's image

    Step 2: Clear browser cache

Outdated cached data may cause layout issues.

Open a web browser, then go to the browser settings and clear browsing data. Set the time range to "All time" to avoid issues caused by outdated cache.

Go to https://www.office.com and sign in your work account.

Once signed in, select Apps > All apps > Choose Lists.

    User's image

    Check the Comments section again.

    • If the issue occurs in another browser such as Google Chrome or Safari, please try Microsoft Edge to determine whether the behavior is browser-related.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know the results after trying these steps, and feel free to share the screenshot for further review.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
