    Dear @UrielVilla-4507,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, you are unable to switch from your personal account to your business account on your laptop.

Please note that Windows does not directly “switch” between accounts. Instead, you need to add or reconnect your work account properly.

For better understanding your situation, could you please confirm me as:

    1. Where does the issue happen (login screen, Outlook, Teams, etc.)?
    2. Does it appear any error message?

In the meantime, here is suggestion to add your work account you can refer to:

Go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school

    Select Connect

Sign in with your work account credentials

    Complete verification if prompted

I hope information above can help you resolve the issue. If not, please provide more information as my questions above.

    Looking forward to your update.

On Windows 11 Home, the primary sign-in on the device must be a personal Microsoft account; a work or school (business) account can be added and used for apps and services, but cannot fully replace the personal account as the main Windows sign-in.

To use the business account for Microsoft 365 apps (including OneDrive for Business) on the laptop, add and join it properly, then sign in to apps with that account:

    1. Open SettingsAccountsAccess work or school.
    2. If the business account is not listed, select Connect.
    3. Choose Add a work or school account, enter the business email address.
    4. On the next step, instead of just finishing sign-in, select Join this device to Microsoft Entra ID.
    5. Sign in with the business account when prompted.
    6. Restart the computer.
    7. At the sign-in screen, use Switch user and select the business account to sign in with it.

If the option to Join this device to Microsoft Entra ID is missing, the device is likely running Windows 11 Home, where full “set up for work or school” is not available. In that case, the personal account remains the primary Windows sign-in, but Office apps and OneDrive can still be signed in with the business account separately.
