Not receiving emails in Outlook/Hotmail after storage upgrade

My storage capacity was full and emails stopped on May 1st. I upgraded to 100GB on Saturday, May 9th, but today I am still not able to receive important emails — only spam comes through. I tried sending an email from Hotmail and it eventually went, but when I send to myself, nothing arrives.

I can’t get through to the chat box or phone support. What can I do? I am missing important emails. Please help.

Hi! Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with this situation. Could you please share a screenshot of your Outlook storage quota? To check it, open Outlook.com, click the gear icon in the top-right corner, then go to Account > Storage, as shown here.

This will help confirm whether the issue is related to mailbox storage, since Microsoft notes that storage limits can affect Outlook mailbox usage and, in some cases, the ability to send or receive email. Please make sure to hide any personal information before sharing the screenshot.User's image
