Microsoft accounts and their data cannot be merged. It is not possible to combine purchases, subscriptions, or stored data from two separate Microsoft accounts into a single account.
The closest available option is:
- Decide which Microsoft account to keep (for example, the one that already has the active Microsoft 365 subscription).
- If the other account uses an email address that should be reused (for example, a Gmail address), first free that address by closing that Microsoft account after confirming there is no important data or purchases tied to it.
- Optionally, add that freed email address as a sign-in alias on the account being kept so it can be used to sign in to the same remaining account.
- Manage or cancel any duplicate subscriptions on the account that will be closed so that only one active subscription remains on the primary account.
Note that any data, purchases, or subscriptions associated with the account being closed cannot be transferred to the other account.
