Usually, your Xbox profile will be linked to your Microsoft Account at the point of creation. After that, you can no longer create another profile with that account. The most possible reason for this is that your email address is no longer linked with your Microsoft Account. In other words, your account might have been hacked, and the hacker has changed the log in email.
Unfortunately, this is a user-to-user support forum. In this case, you can whether try to submit a recovery form at aka.ms/recovermyaccount or contact Microsoft Support.
- Type Live chat in the search box.
- Now click Get help, and Select Contact Support or Sign in to contact support below.
- Go to the Products and services tab, and choose Other products
- On the Category tab, choose Billing and Account Profile questions
- Go to Confirm.
- You can now choose the option of Chat with a support agent on your web browser.
