Good Day , i am having the following issue, have an Asustor nas drive at a client, local networked pc's are connecting perfectly fine, i have a dyndns account pointing to the nas drive and all relevent ports are open.remotely i am having this issue

  1. windows 7 computers are connecting
  2. linux computers are connecting
  3. windows 10 computers cannot connect via the dynamic dns address or the fixed ip address , i keep getting a 0x80070035 error

I am almost certain it has to do with smb version compatibility
this is what i have done so far

  1. enabled smb1 protocol under windows features
  2. enabled netbios
  3. checked group policy editor for any issues

still cannot connect

please help
