change of legal name in Microsoft azure exam by pearson on-vue

Question

My legal name is Dama Poojitha but while filling the details to register for the exam I filled it as- first name is Poojitha and last name as Dama -which gave me a confirmation email which said my name came out as Poojitha Dama 

So can it be change to Dama Poojitha

The registration has already been confirmed, and the exam has been booked but is there any way that can be changed?

You update your Legal name on your Microsoft Learn profile under Settings https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/settings

If you have an exam booked, you will be shown a message and link to contact Credentials support https://aka.ms/credentials-support

The legal name used for a Microsoft Certification exam must match the government-issued ID exactly, and name issues can prevent taking the exam.

To correct the name order for an Azure exam delivered by Pearson VUE:

1. Update the legal name in the Microsoft Learn profile:
   • Go to the Learn profile settings page.
   • Update the Legal name so it matches the ID (first name and last name in the correct order).
   • Save the changes.
   • If the goal is to remove or adjust the last name format, an underscore (_) can be used in the last name field when appropriate.
2. If an exam is already booked:
   • When there is an active booking, the profile may show a message and a link to contact Microsoft Credentials support.
   • Use that link to submit a support request and explain that the first and last names are reversed and need to match the ID.
3. If the proctor or test center has already blocked an attempt because of a name mismatch, or if the name cannot be edited directly, contact Credentials support via the official help channel and request a legal name correction before exam day.

If Pearson VUE test center staff or the online proctor determine that the name on the registration does not match the ID, they can refuse the exam, so this should be corrected in advance.
