Remote desktop printing

Printer permissions
I have the following setup.
Server running 2003 connected to a Windows 10 remote PC via Hamachi. The remote PC has a HP1020 laser printer attached which is shared.
I can log into the server from the Windows 10 machine and then go to add printer, printer on network, I can see the W10 machine and when I click on it the printer shows. After clicking on next a window opens and the system requires a user name and password. I have tried allsorts but fail to add this printer. My question is what user and password is being requested? Do I have to create one and on which computer must it be done. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My email ******@endresults.co.za

Hi @Mark Pullin

This setting might be specific to your printer and have you checked your printer's manual for this? The printer might set up the default username and password for security reasons. The login details will be in the printer manual usually,
