Message box seems to fail to consume the return key when defaulting.

I am presently developing on Visual Studio 2013. I have noticed that when I use a message box, it doesn't seem to consume the return key stroke upon accepting the default. Instead, the return key is consumed by the next focused text box. Any ideas?

Please post some code that repos the issue. What you seem to be describing doesn't make any sense to me as a messagebox is going to have a button to click. Pressing ENTER would click the button. This wouldn't have any impact on some control in another window (since the messagebox is its own window). My guess is something in your code isn't correct but without any repo it is hard to say.
