To delete an account from the Microsoft Authenticator app using the app itself, remove the account from within Authenticator.

1. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
2. Select the account that needs to be removed.
3. Tap the Settings gear icon for that account.
4. Tap Remove account.
5. Confirm the removal.

After removing the account, that device can no longer be used to verify sign-in for that account.

If all accounts must be removed from Authenticator on a device, reset the app’s data from the device settings (this removes all accounts and can’t be undone):

• Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Authenticator > Storage (or Storage & cache) > Clear data > OK.
• iOS: Go to Settings > General > Storage > Authenticator > Offload App.
