How to fix teams app crashing after Android 17 update in Pixel device?

My MS Teams app is crashing unexpectedly right after I open it. Could someone assist with this problem? I updated my Pixel 10A to Android 17 just yesterday.

From my understanding, Android 17 is currently a beta release from Google and hasn't reached its official release date yet, so there may be many compatibility issues with apps like Microsoft Teams, and this is very likely what's causing the crash on your Pixel 10A.

Here are a few steps you can try: 

• Downgrade your Android version: since Android 17 is still in beta, rolling back to the previous stable version of Android should resolve the crashing issue in the meantime. This is generally the safest option for day-to-day productivity apps like Teams. 
• Report the issue to Microsoft Teams: as Microsoft user your feedback matters and helps the Teams team prioritize fixes for Android 17 compatibility. You can submit it through the Teams feedback Portal or you can submit feedback directly inside Teams via Feedback > Report an issue.

Because the root cause is on the Android platform, the recommended path is:

1. Contact Google/Pixel support and report that Teams started crashing immediately after updating the device OS.
2. Ask to have the issue associated with the existing production incident for Teams crashing on recent Android builds so that the device receives the relevant platform fix as soon as it is available.
3. After Google confirms a fix is deployed, install any pending system or Play system updates and then try launching Teams again.

If the issue persists even after Google confirms the platform fix and all updates are installed, reinstalling Teams (uninstall, then install again from the official store) can be tried, but the primary fix still needs to come from the Android side.
