is OLE injection still supported and recomended for MS word

Hello,

I have some code that inserts image objects by OLE.
The issue is that sometimes this causes the system to crash.

I have heard conflicting stores about OLE being deprecated/ no longer supported by Microsoft.
Can anyone provide clarity on weather this is true and if it is what is the best way to achieve this.

So far, I do not find the KB released by Microsoft, that say Word stops suporting OLE injection.
As this issue is related to Word development, I would add some tags, maybe some experts who follow those developing tags would share their experience to help you.

From which document ?

OLE specifications still apply to :

Windows Server 2022 operating system
Windows 11 operating system

from :

Appendix A: Product Behavior
