Hello,

I am working on an Access database for my company to track user issues. It has some tables, an entry form, and a few reports. In the reports I put some charts and graphs that visualize some trends, relationships, etc.

The issue is that only some users can see the graphs and charts. I've tested with three people so far. I can see the graphs and charts, and one of the other testers can see the charts. But one of the testers can't see the charts. He opens the Access database from the exact same network location. He can use the form and enter issues, but when he double clicks the report, it is blank (except for some text boxes). If he goes into "design view" the chart boxes aren't there either.

It seems to be a similar issue to this one I found:

But Rex's answer doesnt apply because I am using a .accdb Access 2007-2016 format.

Have you used any 3rd-party software to assign different permission to implement security on database? Or is there any code about restricting which report objects that user can use based on a identity field?
If condition allows, I would like to suggest users who have this issue login on other computers to check whether this issue is related to user identity. Besides, please make sure users have same version of Access, it could avoid incompatibility issues on functions between different versions.

I had my coworker sign into his company Microsoft account on my computer and now the charts work. So it seems to be an issue with his workstation. Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply. If the issue is not due to permissions, in my opinion, you may also check the graphics rendering. Besides, you'd better ask a new question in Access for Developers forum as we are mainly responsible for the general issues of Access, such as installation. Thanks for your understanding.

I'm curious if you ever found a solution to this issue. This morning I discovered I have one user with the EXACT problem you've described. It's got to be something on his specific machine. I handle permissions through my own code and all users essentially have the same.
