Hi @Racha Fares,
Thank you for your question.
To clarify, Microsoft 365 Family is a consumer (home) subscription and cannot be directly converted into a Microsoft 365 Business subscription. To move to the appropriate business setup, you would need to complete a few separate steps.
First, you should cancel your current Microsoft 365 Family subscription. During the cancellation process, you will also be able to check whether you are eligible for a refund. To do this:
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account used to purchase the subscription at: account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365
- Locate Microsoft 365 Family
- Select Manage
- Choose Cancel subscription
- Follow the on-screen steps and review any refund details provided
For detailed guidance, you can refer to: How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription.
Once the consumer subscription is canceled, you can proceed to purchase the appropriate Microsoft 365 Business plan, such as Business Basic, Business Standard, or Business Premium, depending on your needs (email, desktop apps, Teams, security, etc.) through Microsoft 365 Business Plans and Pricing | Microsoft 365.
If you do not see a refund option during cancellation, or the subscription does not appear under your account, you can contact Microsoft Support directly for assistance: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus > choose For Home support.
I hope this helps clarify how to address the subscription issue. Please try the steps above and let me know how it goes. If you’re still having trouble switching to the correct plan, I’m here to help you through the next steps.
Thank you for your patience and for being part of the community.
