I have a charge on my credit card from Microsoft that I do not know what it is for. How do I talk to someone regarding this charge? Drafted on April 19, 2026 form my account.

If you subscribed to something from Microsoft, or purchased something from Microsoft, you would know, right?

(If you're not sure if you would know, the rest of my answer is irrelevant.)

So if you didn't subscribe to something from Microsoft or purchase something from Microsoft, and yet you see a charge on your credit account that says "Microsoft", it can only mean one thing:

Someone unknown to you has stolen your credit card information and is using it to make unauthorized purchases, in this case from Microsoft. Until you stop them, which may require that you cancel the credit card account, the thief will continue to have the ability to make unauthorized charges on that card.

Contact the credit card issuer ASAP.
