How to fix Microsoft Outlook

I still have Windows 10 home version 22H2 and have not been able to receive or send emails for about a week now. I tried to send an email it showed it was sent but when I clicked on the email I sent to review it nothing I wrote was there, so apparently it isn't working either.

I am using Microsoft Outlook 365 Personal and the version shows to be (Version 2605 Build 16.0.20026.20010) 64-bit). I have tried all of your offline and online trouble shooting tools nothing has fixed it.

And, all of this started when I tried the new version. I searched for what do do about that and was told if I just turned the new version off outlook would work just like it did before I switched to the new version. But that didn't help anything.

I have asked the community 3 or 4 times about this and no one apparently has an answer that works.

So, I thought I should directly to Microsoft and ask for help here. So, can someone help me please?

Thank you, LC

Hi. I'm Brian and I'll try to help.

Who is your mail provider - that is, what follows the @ in your address? What type of account (POP, IMAP, Exchange) do you have configured? If you log into your mailbox using a web browser, can you send messages and do you see any newer messages in the Inbox that way? I'm trying to determine if the problem is with the mail service or the mail client.

My answer from AI just gave me the same instructions I followed on Microsoft help before which do not work. I need help from a real live technician.
