I was working on a file saved in one drive and I lost internet connection in between. So, I was saving files by clicking the save icon in between. But when I was done working, the internet connection was back and I saw my changes were not saved anywhere, two hours of my work got lost.

I tried to recover it from everywhere, autosave, recycle bin, one drive previous versions but I did not get my work back.

When I closed the file, then also it did not give any warning like "do you want to save file?" that's why i thought that it is saved but it was not. This happens in the offline copies but i don't know why this problem occurred in one drive. Please help.

If the doc had been opened from OneDrive and the Auto Save on the ribbon was on it would have been saved, and any changes synced when the internet was re-connected
