Welcome Liegute Egle,
I understand how frustrating it can be when you are unable to sign in to your Windows 11 laptop because you forgot your password, your fingerprint is no longer working, and the PIN shows error 0x80090027.
Before we proceed, could you please clarify a couple of details:
- On the sign-in screen, do you see your email address (Microsoft account) or only a local username?
- When you select Sign-in options, do you see a password option or only PIN/fingerprint?
In the meantime, you can try the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Option 1: Try to use password sign-in instead of PIN
- On the sign-in screen, click Sign-in options
- Select the key icon (Password)
- Enter your password (even if PIN is failing)
Option 2: Reset Microsoft account password (if using email account)
- Use another device (phone or different PC)
- Go to Reset your Microsoft account password
- Follow the steps, then return and try signing in again
Option 3: Use “I forgot my PIN” option
- On the login screen, select I forgot my PIN (if available)
- Sign in with your Microsoft account to create a new PIN
Option 4: Reset the PC (if no sign-in method works)
- From login screen: hold Shift > Power > Restart
- Select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC
- Choose Keep my files
I hope the steps above help you deal with your issue.
