    Greetings!

This is Tin, I understand that you would like to request a refund and cancel your subscription. To do that, it would be best to reach the MS Accounts & Billing Support since its been a month already since your yearly subscription has been renewed.

    Kindly open this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/

Please sign in your account with the subscription, then click Microsoft 365 then choose Get Home Support. After that, please type Chat with an agent then hit enter. Scroll down and choose Contact Support, then please select MS 365 and Office then under Category, choose Billing and Account Profile question then hit next. You will see the chat option there.

Once you're connected to the Live Agent, please let them know about your issue so they could check your account and address your concern.

    Thank you,

    Christine L

A refund may be possible, but it depends on eligibility for Microsoft 365 subscription refunds and the country of purchase.

To check and request a refund for an auto-renewed Microsoft 365 subscription:

    1. Cancel the subscription first:
      1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page for the Microsoft account used to buy the subscription: https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 and sign in if prompted.
      2. Find the Microsoft 365 subscription and select Manage.
      3. Select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel) and follow the on-screen steps to complete cancellation.
    2. Check refund eligibility:
      • Not all cancellations result in a refund.
      • In some countries (for example Canada, Denmark, France, Israel, Korea, Turkey, and for certain renewed longer-than‑1‑month subscriptions in Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, and Portugal), cancelling can entitle to a prorated refund. See the country list and details in Countries with prorated refunds for Microsoft subscriptions.
      • For general refund eligibility and to be guided through the process, use the refund self-help flow starting from the Microsoft 365 refund help: How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription.
    3. After cancellation, if eligible, the refund will be processed automatically:
      • Refund status can be checked on the Order history page of the Microsoft account: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders.
      • If a refund entry appears there, the bank or payment provider may take a few days to post the money back.

If the subscription was purchased through Google Play, Apple App Store, or a third‑party retailer (such as Amazon), contact that store’s support to request cancellation and refund, as Microsoft cannot process those directly.

If there are issues or the situation is unclear, contact Microsoft Support via the Contact Microsoft Support options described in the cancellation and refund articles.
