Facing a issue during exam schedule

2026-06-02T05:40:20.46+00:00

Hello Team,

Good day!

I am trying to schedule my exam through Microsoft Learn, but I am encountering an error during the initial stage of the scheduling process. I have been facing this issue for the past two weeks.

Error:"We encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later. If this issue continues, please contact site support."

I already contacted Pearson VUE Support, and they advised me to check with your team regarding this matter. Could you please help me resolve the issue?

Also, could you please share the appropriate point of contact (POC) or any support forum where I can get immediate assistance to resolve this issue more quickly?

Thanks & Regards, Harika Peri

    Hello Julian Sharp,

    Greetings!

I haven't encountered that specific error (ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK) in my URL. Furthermore, when I contacted Pearson VUE support, they weren't able to find my account in their system at all.

Please see the attached screenshot of the exact error I am facing.enter image description here

    Thanks & Regards,

    Harika peri

Are you seeing ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK in the URL when you try and schedule the exam?

ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK is typically because your account has been blocked by Pearson Vue which normally happens because of multiple failed payments. You need to contact Pearson Vue support using the link on https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport to get the block lifted.

The error message during exam scheduling indicates an issue that must be handled by certification/exam support rather than by the browser or device.

Based on the described behavior and the fact that Pearson VUE has already been contacted, the next steps are:

    1. Contact Microsoft Credentials/Certification Support
      • Use the Credentials Support channel for Microsoft Certification issues so the support team can review the Learn profile, exam history, and any account blocks or data issues.
      • Go to Credentials Support: https://aka.ms/Credentials-Support (listed under For all other Microsoft Certification issues).
      • Provide details: exam name, Microsoft Learn account email/ID, screenshots of the error, and the date/time of recent attempts.
    2. If Pearson VUE indicated a possible account block or payment-related issue
      • Similar issues with “unexpected error” during scheduling have been resolved only after Pearson VUE support removed an account block (for example, after multiple failed payments). Since Pearson VUE has already been contacted once, contact them again specifically asking them to check for any “VUE-wide block” or account restriction and to clear it if present.
      • Pearson VUE contact options for Microsoft exams are listed here: https://home.pearsonvue.com/microsoft/contact.
    3. Use the official reschedule/scheduling policy and guidance
    4. For urgent or persistent issues
      • If no resolution is received after contacting Credentials Support, reply to the same support ticket rather than opening new ones, so the case history is preserved and escalated if needed.

These are the only supported channels that can directly access and fix account-level or scheduling issues; there is no separate “immediate” POC beyond Microsoft Credentials Support and Pearson VUE Support.
